Social Player for iPhone and iPod touch is now available

Good news, everyone!

Our new app Social Player for iPhone and iPod touch is now available on the App Store.

The app is a music player with social networking features. It enables you to share the music you are listening to on your device with your friends on Facebook. It is very easy to use: You can browse and play your music in an intuitive way and share it by just pressing the central share button. Social Player then posts on your Facebook wall for your friends to see.

iPhone Tech Talk World Tour 2009 in Hamburg

On November 13th the iPhone Tech Talk took place in Hamburg. While Sven was on a business trip to Sydney, Henry and I had the pleasure to attend this event. There was nothing real new but it was interesting to meet other software companies and hear about what they have experienced while developing applications for the iPhone.

BIG company meeting

Last week the project.me team attended a company meeting which is hosted by IZBM GmbH. The meeting that was moderated by IZBM's managing director Dr. Florian Seiff is a reoccuring event that is supposed to bring companies together which reside at the "Berliner Innovations- und GründerZentrum" BIG (Berlin innovation and business incubation centre). The meeting gives new companies opportunity to introduce themselves. Right now BIG houses about 90 companies.

First consumer iPhone app is on the way

We've been developing for iPhone quite some time now, but on behalf of our customers. We're pleased to announce that project.me will soon release its own first app for the masses.

Over the last few month we've been working hard on a new, very cool application for iPhone and iPod touch. We had the idea long ago, but couldn't realize it until the iPhone OS 3.0 update arrived. The app makes intense use of certain OS 3.0 features, and we think that it will stay as one of a kind for a while.

project.me on Twitter

in

We've been playing around with the popular micro-blogging service Twitter lately. It's a quite nice communication service that allows you to learn what your friends are doing in real-time.

So, if you're a Twitter user, you can follow us under @project_me to stay up to date on the latest project.me news. For a start, we will tweet our previous blog posts to this day.

Kick-Off for our new project

project.me starts today with the development of its newest piece of software. It will be a public portal which can be accessed by any browser as well as via a custom iPhone application. We are happy to give you an update very soon...

London

Sven and I were very glad to meet our business partners Sean and Michael from Incite while they visited europe to meet their customers and introduce their brandnew collaboration software named Incite Keystone. Due to the fact that we both have developed collaboration software for many years we certainly know what we are talking about when we have to admit that Incite Keystone is just stunning.

Cooperation with "schöne kommunikation"

project.me is very happy to announce a cooperation with the advertising agency schöne kommunikation. Both companies will design and develop iPhone applications very closely. Sven and I know Astrid and Dorothee from schöne kommunikation for many years as we used to work in the same company. We are convinced that their experience and creativity will help project.me for being successful in the iPhone application business.

Project collaboration application for iPhone

Here is small video preview of an enterprise project collaboration app for the iPhone we are working on. The iPhone app serves as a client to an existing web software living on enterprise servers. It is a mixture of project collaboration, document management and messaging.

Here we go

Here it is: our first blog entry.

We have decided to use a blog to keep interested people informed about our projects and ideas. From time to time we'll post an entry about current work, show off new software, present new features or other stuff which might be interesting to you.

We are having a good time creating some top notch software and invite everyone to give us some feedback, feature request and comments to improve our products and services.
