F.A.Q.

  • How do I connect to Facebook?
    Just press the top right Facebook Connect button to connect Social Player with your Facebook account.
  • How do I share my music?
    If you have Social Player running on your iPhone or iPod and are listening to your music, then you just need to tap on the cloud in the center.
  • What is the difference between "Set my status" and "Publish story"?
    You have two possibilities to share music via Facebook:
    "Set my status" sets the status message you can find at the top of your Facebook profile page. It will also update your wall, so it is visible to your friends. The status message will stay at your profile until you change it again and is plain text.
    "Publish story" will publish a story on your wall but not change your status. The story will contain album art and a link to an iTunes preview of the song, provided it can be found on the iTunes Store.
  • How can I enable/disable Email Sharing?
    You can switch Email Sharing on and off in the Settings app.
  • Clicking on the album art of a Facebook entry with Internet Explorer 8 doesn't bring me to the iTunes preview. Why?
    This seems to be a general problem of Internet Explorer 8 and Facebook. As long as you can't use another browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari etc.) for now you can open the link by doing a right click on the cover and choosing "Open Link".
